Dear Reader ,

Let’s start with a confession...

I don’t always know where a line will end when I begin writing it. But maybe that’s the thrill of it, the not knowing. The uncertainty. The wonder.                                                     

I call this blog Verse & Vibes because that’s what it is: part poetry, part painting, part “oops-Did-I-accidentally-made-something-cool?" Verse & Vibes was never meant to be perfect or polished but it is mine. It’s where my poems and doodles live when they’re tired of being stuck in notebooks. Sometimes they make sense, sometimes they just make me feel better and that’s enough. If this blog were a playlist, it’d be called: ‘Cried, Laughed, Posted Anyway.’ 

And me? I’m The Doodling Bard. 
Professional overthinker. Occasional rhyme-dropper. Not quite Shakespeare, not quite Picasso. Just someone with ink-stained fingers and too many drafts which linger. I doodle in margins and find meaning in sunflower fields. (Yes, that’s a sunflower reference to my first post - guilty... Go check it out!!) 
I started this blog because I wanted to build something real. Something that lets a reader feel seen. Behind every post here is a story, a spark, a late-night musing or a midday scribble. It’s where art meets e
motion and words are free to be a little messy and a little magic.

  A painting of a sky that never stayed one color. A patch of sunflowers that never stopped facing the light. Houses that held memories and leaves that kept growing even when we weren’t looking. This piece began with a brushstroke of nostalgia: blue melting into orange skies, like the kind that used to signal playtime was almost over, but not yet. The houses? They’re not just buildings. They’re echoes of laughter in stairwells, of mangoes eaten too fast, of stories whispered under blankets. The sunflowers in the foreground? They’ve always meant joy to me pure, golden, untamed. For the Days You Feel Like the Background...

This piece emerged from moments of introspection, where feelings didn't fit neatly into boxes. The canvas became a space to explore those in-betweens, the silent battles, and the quiet triumphs. Just like the butterfly, we all have days where we feel pulled in different directions. This poem is a tribute to those days, to the beauty found in imbalance, and to the strength it takes to keep flying.
